Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 機械工程學系 === 95 === In this research, the effects of different operating conditions with single-path, dual-path, treble-path serpentine and spiral flow fields on the cell performance are numerically analyzed. The operating conditions include the fuel flow rate, temperature of the fuel and different types of flow fields. The model studied is fully three-dimensional and includes current collectors, fuel flow-field plates, GDLs and MEA. According to the results of simulation, the dual-path and treble-path spiral flow fields have better performance because this type of flow fields has advantage in geometry which enables fuel to flow over all reaction area more uniformly. However, the performance of single-path spiral configuration is lower than other types of flow fields because in the central region the pressure is higher and the reaction-induced water blocks the fuel to flow in.
