| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 中國文學所 === 96 === The thesis is the research on Phonetic-Loan phenomenon of 443 representative Bronze Inscriptions gathered in Yin Zhou Jin Wen Ji Cheng Shi Wen and Jin Chu Yin Zhou Jin Wen Ji Lu. The characters of 443 Bronze Inscriptions can be divided into two categories: Without-Original-Character category, in which has 954 characters, and With-Original-Character category, in which has 113 pairs of characters. The content of the thesis includes three parts:
First, in chapter two, is the discussion on Phonetic-Loan phenomenon of Western-Zhou Bronze Inscriptions, which belong to Without-Original-Character category, and contain two aspects: proper nouns and function words.
Second, in chapter three and four, is the discussion on Phonetic-Loan phenomenon of characters in Without-Original-Character category. According to Chen Dian xi, Phonetic-Loan phenomenon discussed in these chapters is divided into six aspects, and the analysis of the six aspects reveals the relationship between pronunciation and meaning of the characters.
Third, chapter five is about the accidence of Phonetic-Loan characters. Interchangeability on Chinese characters is mainly out of the relation of the same or similar pronunciations. However, in the relation of Interchangeability of Chinese characters, the same or similar radicals are often discovered. It probably shows the possibility that the relation of radicals among the characters is built in the process of interchangeability.
Phonetic-Loan characters are the critical paths to the research of Bronze Inscriptions. Research on Phonetic-Loan phenomenon of ancient Chinese characters can also promote the understanding to the development of Chinese Characters.
