Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 化學工程所 === 96 === Cytokinesis, a process by which a dividing cell splits in two, plays a central part in cell division. Midbody is a transient “organelle-like” structure and consists of a compact, dense matrix of proteins, which are indispensable for cytokinesis. Inappropriate regulation of midbody formation will significantly affect the terminal cytokinesis events and result in a multi-nucleate phenotype, which is a characteristic of tumorigenesis. In this study, we are aimed to apply principal component analysis to microarry data of midbody protein. Because the rareness of time-course human gene expression data, we adopt the publicly released yeast cell cycle microarray data, and look for the yeast ortholog of human midbody genes. By using principal components analysis we find that it can classification of the genes similar expression and similar function in cell cycle . We hope that the result can approve the biologist more understand the midbody.
