| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 成人及繼續教育所 === 96 === This research is to discuss the process of Ziyun community in Chiayi County that community organization cadres participated in service learning of community empowerment. The purposes of the research are to realize community cadres’ motivations of community service learning, to promote community empowerment works, to discover the growths after participating community service and community changes. Moreover, the problems that they were encountered and community development in the future are also research aims.
The research adopts qualitative research methods including document analysis, participation observation and semi-structured interview for date collection. The outcomes of this research are as following:
1. The community cadres’ motivations of community development works include to have free time after retirement, to agree with leader’s thought of the community empowerment, to be aware of importance of community participation, to learn about community empowerment, to interact interpersonal relationship with community.
2. Community cadres employ nonformal learning methods and informal learning methods to accumulate community working experiences.
3. Community cadres’ growth of service learning includes to promote concept of community empowerment, relationship communication, social ability, to get along with older methods and to enhance computer applying ability.
4. Ziyun community environment has enhanced interpersonal relationship after community empowerment.
5. Community cadres participated continuous energy of community empowerment is effected by family attitude and family’s participation community empowerment develops good atmosphere.
6. The difficulties that community cadres face including residents who misconceived to participate in community, rumors of community empowerment form residents, unsuccessful operation of community volunteer team and pressure of family.
7. Ziyun community rely on promoting residents’ thought of community empowerment continually and to integrate with human resources of community organization in the future.
According to the outcomes above, present the suggestions to community cadres who participate community service learning, the government and the further researches, to give some community cadres who participate in learning plans for community empowerment.
