Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 機械工程所 === 96 === In medicine the knowledge of relative placement and size of anatomi- cal structures is indispensable, especially in surgery and treatment planni- ng. Therefore, how could the medical image data sets, like the Computer Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), be visualized has become more and more important. For scalar volumes, direct volume rendering has proved to be a useful tool for data exploration. With the use of a transfer function, scalar values can be mapped to colors and opacities to identify and enhance important features. But the specification of the transfer function is frequently a time-consuming and unintuitive task. Therefore, we develop an automatic transfer function generation system to make the volume rendering more useful and apply this in oral implant planning. Last, we introduces Haptic Device to provide 3D control function in oral implant planning. It can make the planning process more intuitive and easy.
