It is the key point of education successfully how to establish the effectiveness of knowledge exchange and the mechanism of knowledge management. The Communities of Practice (CoPs) which focus on the share value together will play an important role in the future, due to the strategy of knowledge in the strategy plan will carry out by the CoPs finally. The purpose of this study understand the situation of participating CoPs in the elementary school and the factors of influence for CoPs. The relationships of teacher specialized growth and school organization were discussed with CoPs. The results reveal that the difficult of carrying CoPs finally. This study was discussed by using the method of quality interviews. The sixteen elementary school including large, medium and small school in the Chiayi City were chosen to investivate. Two principals, nine directors, one chief and four teachers were interviewed in this study. The following conclusions and suggestions were proposed by using the content of interview and the data of analysis. First, most of the member in the elementary school participate the CoPs in general. The results revealed that the most of the communities in two types of executive project which carry out the school policy and professional growth which increase the qualified ability of teachers in the study. Second, the influence of participating CoPs in the member of elementary school has four main factors including: 1.personal interest, 2.enthusiasm, 3.necessary, 4.time, 5.the support of leader in the school, 6.organization culture. Fourth, the CoPs development could help the smooth operation of the teach and administration. Fifth, the CoPs development could improve the culture of school and the atmosphere. Sixth, the efficiency of school could be promoted by participating the CoPs in the member of school. Finally, the following difficulties were proposed by carrying CoPs in the elementary school:1.there were not enough time, 2.space requirements and resources, 3.lower attendance of teacher, 4.communities of lackness planning and excellent leader as well as insignificant, 5.support of administration is not enough. none 王如哲 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 175 zh-TW
