First, we use the LS method to obtain an initial estimate of channels, and then use Kalman and subspace based algorithms to keep track of channel characteristics. Since traditional subspace analysis based on SVD exhibits high complexity, the PASTd algorithm is used for blind synchronous CDMA multiuser detection to reduce complexity. We compare the convergence performance of PASTd, APA (affine projection algorithm), and the low-complexity LMS (least mean square) algorithm.
