Description
Summary:碩士 === 長庚大學 === 資訊工程學研究所 === 96 === The wireless backhaul networks (WBN) uses wireless radio links instead of the conventional wired backhaul cords. In this paper, we proposed a new relay-based architecture for IEEE 802.16 Wireless Backhaul Networks. The node call backhaul relay station (BRS) mainly concentrate on forward backhaul traffic data in this network. Based on this concept, our architecture is compatible with IEEE 802.16 standard. We introduce the scheme in proposed architecture: (1) the strategy of BRS disposing for avoiding channel interference, (2) the interlace transmission scheme for solving collision when transmitting data among BRSs, (3) the frame structure for implementing the interlace transmission, and (4) the protocol stack. We also show the simulation result of the relationship among average delay per packet, number of hops, and frame duration. The simulation result shows that delay will be a system bottleneck in this architecture.
