Description
Summary:碩士 === 長庚大學 === 資訊管理學研究所 === 96 === In order to improve the quality of healthcare and to avoid wasteful duplication, Internet-based electronic patient record has become the future of healthcare institutions. Because of the special environment healthcare is in, it is of utmost importance to ensure patient privacy and security when healthcare institutions develop electronic patient record systems according to IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) standards. However, these regulations and standards spread over a number of sources, causing duplication of elements – and thus inefficient use of healthcare resources – when healthcare services attempt to apply information technologies to improve the healthcare system or to increase the security of medical records during their transmission. This research organizes all IHE regulations that involve security so they can be centralized and simplified. Furthermore, based on SOA and using current information security technology, we have designed a cross-organization healthcare electronic patient record security mechanism for the healthcare institutions to consider when they develop their healthcare security information systems.
