Summary: | 碩士 === 中原大學 === 土木工程研究所 === 96 === In this study, the curvature-area analysis method (CAAM) and the vector form intrinsic finite element (VFIFE or V-5) are used to analyze the behaviors of FRP members. In order to simulate the RC members retrofitted with FRP, fiber section analysis method (FSAM) is adopted. For the FSAM, the section of member has been cut in many strips. The different strips can consider varying reinforced concrete, steels material model and FRP concretes model to compute capacity of the FRP members of sections. The reinforced concrete has been covered by the FRP that it can add the confined effect in the RC members. The concept of confined effect is used to model the behaviors of FRP members in this study.
Finally, the results of the section analysis for the RC members with FRP compared to that of with Response-2000. In addition, the experiment results of the RC members and FRP members where compared with the results of V-5 and CAAM. The results demonstrated the V-5 method having more accurate than CAAM.
