It has been shown that spreading spectrum (SS), frequency hopping and diversity combining techniques are efficiently to combat MAI and fading. We consider different diversity combining methods in our system: maximum ratio combining (MRC), equal gain combining (EGC) and two training sequence methods. The proposed system assumes that the channel state information (CSI) is available for decoding process. In order to estimate the CSI, this thesis proposes two train sequence methods.
