碩士 === 清雲科技大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 96 === The Digital Filters can be used in the design of voice and digital image processing, and wireless systems, we use Altera DSP Builder to implement every function block with the VHDL and download the design to the Altera Stratix DSP development board. This thesis first introduces the overview of Very Large Scale Integrated Circuits and Digital Filter, then we simulate the architecture of a Digital Filter model with Matlab & Simulink software, and design the Moving Average and CIC filters therein. Furthermore, all the function blocks are constructed in Simulink for simulation. Linear-phase Digital Filters are always pure FIR systems which are unconditionally stable and suitable for being implemented on FPGA. The interpolation/decimation Digital Filter used to build the digital IF programmable up/down converter. The fixed-point operations are exploited in designing filter to replace the floating-point operations which are used in some general purposed digital signal processors.
