Awakened of health conscious, people not only hope to live in a good quality life but also expect their living environment includes the conditions of health-promotion and health-preservation. Long-stay in Taiwan is limited by the least differences between geography, weather and environment conditions. The aim of this study is to combine the concept of health-promotion and the development of long stay to construct evaluation indicators for Health-Promotion Long Stay community in Hualien.
At first, based on a literature review, this involves analyzed the meaning of long stay and health-promotion, categorized the stimulus factors and imitated the content of the evaluation indicators for health-promotion long stay community. Secondly, using the Delphi Technique to frame out an evaluation indicator for health-promotion long stay community involves three hierarchies: vital function resources, leisure amusement resources and health-promotion resources. The Delphi Technique listed fourteen evaluation factors and fifty operational indicators, which followed by using questionnaire survey to assemble the perspectives of the professionals in health-promotion and Long stay career, the related government officers and the firms who had been accommodated the Long Stay experiencing group in Hualien. Finally, using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to calculate the significance for all indicators and get important conclusions as following:
1. The aspects in the first hierarchy are the most important on vital function resources. The evaluation indicators in the second hierarchy, some factors like making choices, the living facilities charges, security maintenances, fresh and safety food, convenient of communications, and nature and humanism resources are relative important, too.
2. The ration between the significance of health-promotion aspects and its evaluation indicators for Health-Promote Long Stay community is not high, but the aspects are the important characters for Hualien that differ from other communities on the development of Long Stay. Comparing with health-promotion resources and leisure amusement resources, it is not the item to be starved but still needs to pay attention.
