A Study on the Voluntary Behaviors, Leisure Participation, and Life Satisfaction for Religious Volunteers

碩士 === 大葉大學 === 休閒事業管理學系碩士班 === 96 === The purpose of this research was to explore the relationships of voluntary behaviors, leisure participation, and life satisfaction for religious volunteers. This research was based on convenience sampling, taking the religious volunteers of the 22 temples to serve in Kaohsiung, with main samples. Totally 600 questionnaires were distributed, and resulted in 421 effective respondents. All returned questionnaires has been thoroughly analyzed with decent statistical analysis tools, such as: reliabilty analysis, descriptive statistics, one way ANOVA, t-test, and Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient. The analysis results concluded as followings: A majority of the samples were female, 45-64 years old, educated to senior high school level, married and had a job presently, the religious belief were Taoism, average month expenditure were under NT2,000 dollars. And service seniority was 1 year not full 5 years, average participation was 1-4 days monthly, average participation was 1 hour not full 4 hours at a time. The period and date of participation, job content were unstable. The results indicated that： 1. There were significant part of differences in leisure participation with different personal backgrounds. 2. There were significant part of differences in life satisfaction with different personal backgrounds. 3. There were significant part of differences in leisure participation with different voluntary behaviors. 4. There were significant part of differences in life satisfaction with different voluntary behaviors. At last, based on the findings and a comprehensive discussion were offered to related organizations and future research.
