ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to discuss the promoting the voluntary sport activi-ties in academic department of sport and recreational management. The study is ac-cording to lireature review to develop questionaaires, and the results can apply for gov-ernment and school. The research objects include sutdnets of 18 academic departments of sport and recreational management in Kaohsiung and Pingtung region. A total of 540 samples were intreviewed, and 412 were completely finished as valid good samples.
The major discovery of this study indicates that universities of education were ac-tive than universities of genenal and technology/vocational on promotion voluntary sport activities. Private universities face more difficulties than national universities, es-pecially universities of genenal and technology/vocational.tional. the barrier factors of promotion voluntary sport activities in natonal universities including partners, and learn more sport knoelege, is significant than private universities. Except above factors, amounts of games and training is a key factor influence on universities of education.
