With the current trend of cross industry operational model as well as organizational merger, international financial organizations and large financial institutions are facing unprecedented challenges to increase operational scales, divert business activities and to face globalization which are encouraged by government legislations. This study applies database which was collected from information on re-modeling of business facing operational difficulties, relevant case studies and subject banks interview records. The structure of this study is designed based on the case study on the operational difficulties faced by security brokers which appear in the White Book:2008 Taiwan Capital Market prepared by Taiwan Securities Association.(TSA) The database used in this study is primarily information collected on questionnaires returned by specialists and scholars. The studied subjects are senior managers of headquarter and branches mangers of the subject bank, scholars specializing in the related fields and relevant government officials. Following Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), it provides analysis on factors influencing re-modeling of business operation and implementation plan for the subject bank. Finally, the conclusion of this study is arrived by utilizing AHP which analyses database gathered from returned questionnaires by scholars and taking into account of operation cost, performance level and staff competency. The following six topics are included: Integrated Marketing, Electronic Commerce Platform, Price Competition, Closure of Operation, Acquisitions, Investment Banking Activities, for consideration of constructing an overall implementation plan taking into account of factors influencing re-model of business operation.
