By searching in academic publications, patent bulletin, also by dynamic and strength analysis, some design guides are expected to be established to be the references for the future developments. The main body of the healthy body vehicle used in this study includes paddle driving motion and chair link motion. By simple operation, several different modes of motion can be achieved on this healthy body vehicle. In this study, after the analysis of previous design, an advantage modification is proposed based on the considerations on utility rate of material and space occupation. 3D parts and the assembly are first established in Solidworks. COSMOSMotion module then is used in motion simulation and dynamic analysis. Loading on each part of the healthy body vehicle can be obtained from the analysis. These data are useful in judging the vehicle is safe or not. After dynamic analysis, FEM analysis is followed by COSMOSWorks module. Stress and factor of safety (FOS) of each part of the healthy body vehicle also can be obtained to conform all parts are safe. Following the analysis procedure, design can be optimized.
