| Summary: | 碩士 === 嶺東科技大學 === 資訊科技應用研究所 === 97 === For considering the home security, many families may install conventional home surveillance system or employ the specialized security service. But, the extra cost is unavoidable and expensive. The concept of digital home or smart home is aroused recently. How can utilize the new technique to realize a suitable home surveillance system is an important topic. For example, the maintenance of equipments, precaution against fire, guard against thieves, decreasing the cost of maintenance, and the promotion of housing conditions are all the objectives of the intelligent family. Based on the standard IEEE 802.115.4, the technology of ZigBee possesses the characteristics: reliability, low cost, low power consumption, low transmission rate, and short distance of wireless communication. In this thesis, we will employ the technology of ZigBee and web service to realize a home surveillance system. By the software of Open-Source combine an IP Camera to form a Web-Based build surveillance system. The result can be applied in digital family and factory automation. The proposed result will include: a real-time image system, an entrance guard system, a monitoring temperature system, and a sound alarm system.
