Description
Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 資訊傳播工程學系碩士班 === 96 === Mobile IPv6 has received more and more attention in recent years. This may be the results of the rapid development of internet that causes the shortage of IPv4 address, the fast expansion of wireless local area network, and the increasing requirement of mobile devices. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) has also been widely accepted and applied, because its ability to recognize user identity (UID), small sized tag, and easy installment. In addition, Global Positioning System (GPS) can not be properly applicable for indoor environment, so this leads to the outcome that the indoor locating technique has become important. RADAR system that is designed by Microsoft in 2000 applies the access point (AP) for indoor locating. However, RADAR causes too much calculation loads and time consumption, the prediction model has therefore been designed to solve such problems. In this particular research, a Location-Based Service (LBS) within IPv6 environment will be proposed. This service will apply the knowledge of locating and tracking systems of RFID, RADAR, and the prediction model.
