碩士 === 明道大學 === 環境規劃暨設計研究所 === 96 === In the last two decade the amount of university in Taiwan area grew with a rapid way. The demand on the students' dormitory is huge as well. New lifestyle has more or less Influence on the surrounding environment. Owing to supply and demand never reach in a balance situation. Such as the outside campus area around Feng-Chia and Tung-Hai University in Tai-Chung city, a great deal of private housing to serve the student need was build. To study the evolutional change in private housing sector will be a purpose in this research. Beyond all questions, the architectural style also is influenced by the progressing of the construction materials. The architectural style among those earlier university campus is already formed and steady. But around those new university campus, it is still in a way of forming their own shape. Due to the difference between them make this investigation and research much valuable. According to the data by the Ministry of Education, the number of university in the Taiwan region has increased up to 160 altogether in the past ten years. The movement in sector of real estate change not only the retail trade but also their nature environment and landscape. The phenomenon in this development is a kind of evolution between the factor, such as life style, architectural style and construction material. Steps by this study: 1. To research the architectural style in the sector of students' dormitory. 2. To analyse the architectural style in the sector of students' dormitory. 3. To discuss the change of the architectural style in the sector of students' dormitory. Purpose of this Stud: 1. The architectural style constructs the construction. 2. To comprehend the difference of architectural style between campus architecture and private housing in the same area. 3. To comprehend the difference of architectural style between campus architecture and private housing in the various area.
