After a construction accident investigation, the supervisor writes the investigation report that includes case background, description, and causes of accident. For these various factors in accident, we built a database based on the construction accident data between 2000 and 2008 in Taiwan for analytical research and value added applications. Since dif-ferent users may analyze the data with dissimilar factors, developing a user demand based on-line analytical system is necessary and good solution. Applying On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) to data manipulation, users can control the database by a visualized user interface. For example, picking an item to slice statistic sampling or clicking button to change pivot of plot. Our purpose is to create a friendly system that will guide users to contact data by real-time histogram. Construction Accident Knowledge Platform is a portal of this system and brings journals, reports, multimedia resources about occupational safety and health.
