The paper has collected the construction methods commonly used and briefly introduced their construction steps, appropriate range, construction flowchart, advantages, disadvantages and equipments. The paper selects the “cast-in-place cantilever construction prestress bridges”method as research topic. This paper addressed the problems that could be easily happened during the construction and offered the solutions to them. In addition, the paper also provided a check-list for the workers on sites to prevent from failures. Finally, the paper derived the failure loads of the bridge due to the actions of moment and shear respectively.
