The forms are seven words and four sentences for the most parts, including men and women''s affection, extol naturally, or recalling all sorts of of life with deep feeling etc.. Easy words with deep significance reflect Hakka’s simple life, understandable and lively language, and diverse and copious folk culture. Among them, they include a lot of family materials of Hakkian, and are also the important sign of Hakkas'' culture. Finally, they become precious culture assets of the Hakkas. In this study, the research areas of Hakkian folksongs were in the townships of Toufen, Zaociao, Touwu, and Gongguan of Miaoli county. By using pastoral investigation, one collects and put folk song texts in order for the texts to explore the origins of folksongs, form of expression, style of the language, content characteristic and folk culture to manifest the culture of Hakkian folksongs.
