Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 中國文學系碩博士班 === 96 === Legends of Ming Dynasty were derived from the novels of Tang and Sung Dynasty, and had a great effect on the legends of Ching Dynasty. They also played an important role in the development of East Asian Chinese novels. Therefore, based on the legends of Ming Dynasty, we tried to clarify the development of East Asian Chinese novels and identify the effect of Ming legends on the East Asian Chinese novels. There were six chapters in the manuscript. Chapter 1 was the introduction, including the hypothesis, the study subjects, and the methods. We looked over the short legends of Ming Dynasty which talked about noctambulation, and discussed the donne of these legends in the chapter 2. We introduced the Chinese novels, talking about noctambulation from Japan, Korea, and Vietnam in Chapter 3, 4, and 5, respectively. We also discussed the donne of these novels and tried to identify the effects of Chinese novels and Confucianism to the East Asian Chinese novels. At last, in Chapter 6, we made a conclusion in the relationship between the novels of Ming Dynasty and East Asia. Via looking into the donne of the novels, this study provided us a new point of view to look over the novels of China, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam, and to realize the issues of the authors’ mentality, the culture in the different regions, and the currency of these literatures. Furthermore, we hoped that we can get some inspiration from this study to think about how to get a new issue about the relationship between the Ming legends and the East Asian Chinese novels.
