However, Feng was dumb by nature, and his first wife was madly jealous of Xiao-qhing.; as a result, it turned out that Xiao-qhing couldn’t tolerate the mental torture of Feng’s first wife and was eventually forced to move to an deserted house in the mountains, living lonely until she passed away alone. In the plot of the story, Feng Xiao-qhing was characterized as a spectacular image— a girl with outstanding talent embedded with her young soul, and none other than that unusual talent resulted in her special personality. There are mainly three current study directions about Xiao-qhing: one is focused on Xiao-qhing’s mental situation; another is regarding the effects brought about by Xiao-qhing’s story, especially expressing the influence on the Chinese dramas. The other is how the prototype of Xiao-qhing influenced the later novels; the correlation about shaping the image of Lin Dai-yu, in particular, in《The Dream of the Red Chamber》, and that is exactly what relative researchers are concerned about. The main purpose of the thesis is to sort various texts and relative works concerning Xiao-qhing. At present time, according to current texts, information, and relative works, we can divide them into the discourse about Xiao-qhing’s story, along with re-creations based on her story. Moreover, grounded on the genres, the text information can be grouped into novels, traditional operas and the literators’ notes. In addition, the study arranges scarce works, and the aftermath of Xiao-qhing’s story spread to Japan and Vietnam, eventually discussing the Xiao-qhing’s cult ends the thesis..
