Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 教育研究所 === 96 === The main purpose of this study was to investigate: (a) the proportion of adolescent self-injurious;(b) the relationship between strain factors and self-injurious; (c) the relationship between social learning and self-injurious; (d) the relationship between self-regulation and self-injurious; (e) the relationship between strain factors , social learning, self-regulation and self-injurious. The sample in this study consisted of 1,242 students from 12 junior high schools in Taipei. In this study, statistical analysis included descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and nested regression model analysis. The results of this study were summarized as follows: (a) the more life hassle and negative life events adolescents faced, the more self-injurious they had; (b) there were positive relationships between learning from others and self injurious; (c) self-control and self-judgment of self-regulation had negative relationship with self injurious, but other variables didn’t; (d) when self-regulation were included, the significant relationship between strain factors, social learning and self-injurious were not changed, but the significant relationship between negative life events and self-injurious propensity was changed; (e) when control variables were included, the significant relationships between strain factors, learning from others, self-regulation and self-injurious were not changed, but the significant relationship between self-judgment and self-injurious propensity was changed. Finally, suggestions for parents, teachers, mass media and further research are provided based on the research findings of this study.
