Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 光電科學與工程研究所 === 96 === We have finished the installation of fully leaky guided mode (FLGM) system that is ready for experimental measurement. In order to evaluate stability and reliability of FLGM system, wemeasure optical signals with a zero order wave plate, and analyze experimental results to get physical parameters of zero order wave plate by means of comparison between experiments and simulation. Simultaneously, we also use the more efficient genetic algorithm to fit both experimental and simulated data. Optical simulation for anisotropic materials based on Berreman’s 4x4 matrix is also considered.
