Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 藝術教育研究所 === 96 === This study tried to accomplish the following objectives: incubate elementary school students’ understanding and pass down of traditional arts and living environment; revising possible pitfalls of current elementary art education; integrating local cultural resources into elementary school curriculum; incorporating the belief of post modernism based multi-cultural education and subject-based art education curriculum and, in term, design the Art of Paste-Dyeing education curriculum that can be implemented in visual arts. This is an action research recruiting 35 fourth graders from a class of Heng-Ren primary school to reveal participants’ learning status by means of collecting students self-evaluation documents and teachers’ learning outcome evaluation and so forth, and using them as feedback to adapt teaching processes. The results of this study indicated that: 1. The Art of Paste-Dyeing curriculum possesses Teaching value. 2. Difficult position in teaching: during curriculum implementation, the funding and material are not enough; students may not be familiar with teaching materials that elicit negative emotion and retardation in learning; teachers may possess too high expectations toward their students’ ability to learn. 3. The Art of Paste-Dyeing showed it practical value in the fourth graders’curriculum. The results suggested that: 1. The authorities may concerned of the school should invite the Art of Paste-Dyeing experts to teach at school. 2. Parents should be invited to involve in the Art of Paste-Dyeing curriculum. 3. Arrange cultural and educational institutes visits in the community. 4. Develop appropriate the Art of Paste-Dyeing in grade 1-9 curriculum and arts and humanities area.
