Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 特殊教育學系研究所 === 96 === The purpose of this study was to explore the homebound instruction itinerant teachers’ point of view on her service system in Yunlin County. Participants were 6 homebound instruction/cross-categorical itinerant teachers and 2 administrators. The study adopted semi-structured in-depth interviews as the major method to collect the data. The main findings were as follows: 1. While served as a homebound instructor and a cross-categorical itinerant teacher at the same time, the itinerant teachers expressed their concern about aggravate working load. 2. There was lack relevant guarantee on the personal security of the itinerant teachers. 3. A lack of consideration on real situation was occurred when the authorities offered the teacher's allowance. 4. A lack of direct communication was occurred between the disciplinary team service workers and the itinerant teachers. Beside, the stander for working efficacy was not established. 5. In terms of in service training, the administrator tended to hoping the touring teachers would get a second major voluntarily, whereas the touring teacher expressed their concern about administrator would offer relative in service regularly. 6. A need of government support was expressed by the itinerant teachers. Based on the results of this study, the implications and suggestions for the field practices and future studies were discussed.
