There are two advantages in the MRFS algorithm. First, MRFS reduces the storages in every MR especially in the TLMR (Top level MR). Second, MRFS can transmit multicast datagrams more efficiently. MRFS tables are proposed to achieve these two advantages. MRFS algorithm is more efficient than other multicast protocols in the NEMO according to the evaluation.
