Advisors: Dr. Dauw-Song Zhu and Cedric His-Jui Wu Student: Ding-Long, Li Abstract: The theoretical framework of this research based on B&P Model (Wixom & Todd, 2005), and bring into the “Service quality” and “Use” construct according to DeLone and McLean (2003). The study analysis User’s cognition and behavior for used Depot-logistic information management system (DLIMS) of Republic of Chinese Air Force, and obtain the following results. First, under the involuntary use context, “use” still measure success of the information system effectively. The intensity difference of involuntary used, is going to present apparent variation on user's use behavior. So managers should be mindful, if they want to make the information system get abundant acceptance, and go beyond nticipated utilization benefit, they should let users not feel and use for command but for official duties. Second, the result of field study shows, the theoretical framework that combined from “user satisfaction theory literature” and “technology acceptance theory literature” can effectively and completely evaluate user’s cognition against the information system. Practically, the information management department can utilizes this framework and questionnaires to explore user's cognition to IT, and making decision about IT, including development, design or maintenance. Third, the keypoint for combined with “user satisfaction theory literature” and “technology acceptance theory literature” is to fill in the gap between “behavioral beliefs” and “object based attitudes”. The result of study has confirmed that causality exists among “object based attitudes” and “behavioral beliefs”, that offered the evidence in fact for those theories to combine in conception. Fourth, the causal relationship between service quality and system satisfaction or information satisfaction have not been verified. Researcher reasoned (1) the influence of the military context, (2) lack the intervening variable for service quality (3) Concept and scale of service quality should be confirm and modify.
