Accordindly,it has four key point: 1.Comprehending the state of play in administrators’ emotional labor and burnout of elementary schools; 2.Analyzing the discrepancies which background variables cause between administrators’ emotional labor and burnout of elementary schools; 3.Treating the correlation between administrators’ emotional labor and burnout of elementary schools; 4.Researching the prediction between administrators’ emotional labor and burnout of elementary schools. The method adopted in this research was applied through the questionnaire. The samples included 531 administrators selected from 36 public elementary schools in Taichung City. The effective rate of the questionnaire reached 84.2%. The data is statistically analyzed by frequency distribution analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, canonical correlation and multiple stepwise regression analysis. The outcomes of this research are as follows: 1.The current situation of administrators’ emotional labor of elementary schools is all above average. 2.The current situation of administrators’ burnout of elementary schools is all under average. 3.From different positions,there is significant effect on “academic achievements”, ”position” and ”office“ on administrators’ emotional labor of elementary schools. 4.From different positions, there is significant effect on”age”, ”seniority“, “academic achievements”, ”position”, ”administrative’s seniority“ and “the scale of school” on administrators’ burnout of elementary schools. 5.An low-grade positive correlation is guested between administrators’ emotional labor and burnout of elementary schools. 6.Burnout is low-grade predicted by administrators’ emotional labor of elementary schools.
