Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 人資處輔導教學碩士班 === 96 === The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship among the personality traits, work stress and subjective well-being of elementary school female teachers. The method of this study was the questionnaire survey. The subjects of this study were 923 elementary school female teachers in Taiwan. The collected data were analyzed by T test, one-way ANOVA, one-way MANOVA, and canonical correlation analysis. The result of the investigation revealed the following findings: 1. The elementary school female teachers’ personality trait were Conscientiousness, the adoption of reformation was the highest part in the work stress, the interpersonal harmonious was the highest part in subjective well-being. 2. The elementary school female teachers who got the lower scores on work stress and higher scores on subjective well-being were those who are married. 3. The elementary school female teachers who got the lower scores on work stress and higher scores on subjective well-being were those who are older. 4. The elementary school female teachers who got the highest scores on work stress were those who are preceptor in the class. 5. The elementary school female teachers who got the highest scores on work stress were those who are youthful. 6. There is significant negative correlation between Agreeableness and work stress, Conscientiousness and work stress, Extraversion and work stress, Emotional Stability and work stress, Openness to Experience and work stress. 7. There is significant positive correlation between Agreeableness and subjective well-being, Conscientiousness and subjective well-being, Extraversion and subjective well-being, Emotional Stability and subjective well-being, Openness to Experience and subjective well-being. 8. There is significant negative correlation between work stress and subjective well-being. Finally, according to the findings above, suggestions are given to elementary school female teachers, elementary school, educational administrations and future research.
