Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 體育學系碩士班 === 96 === The purpose of this research was to investigate the correlation between exercise social support and attitude toward physical education among fifth grade to sixth grade students in elementary schools of Hsinchu City. The research was surveyed with a questionnaire survey and 622 samples were effective. There were 341 sixth grade students and 281 fifth grade students to fill in the questionnaire. The collection method adopts the “Questionnaire on exercise social support and attitude toward physical education among elementary school students in Hsinchu City” that was revised by the author. The collected data were analyzed by Descriptive statistics, Independent sample t-test, One-way ANOVA and Pearson product-moment correlation. The analysis results of collected data were as follows: As for exercise social support: 1. The exercise social support of different gender, grade and the education background of student’s mother had not achieved the significance among elementary school students. 2. The exercise social support of different education background of student’s father among elementary school students had achieved the significance (p < .05). The exercises social support of student’s father graduated from master’s degree (include doctorate) better than that of junior high school and elementary school. 3. The exercise social support of students who ever participated in sporty clubs or sports team was superior to the one who had no experience in sporty clubs or sports team (p < .05). As for attitude toward physical education: 1. The attitude toward physical education of different gender and grade had had achieved the significance among elementary school students (p < .05). The attitude toward physical education of boys was better than that of girls. The attitude toward physical education of fifth grade students was superior to that of sixth grade ones. 2. The attitude toward physical education of different education backgrounds of student’s father and mother in elementary schools had not had not achieved the significance (p < .05). 3. The attitude toward physical education of students who ever participated in sporty clubs or sports team was superior to the one who had no experience in sporty clubs or sports team (p < .05). 4.The relationship between exercise social support and attitude toward physical education was positive correlated. The friend’s support of exercise social support and action of attitude toward physical education were correlated.
