Summary: | 碩士 === 國立花蓮教育大學 === 體育學系碩士班 === 96 === The main purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of Tai Chi Chuan practicing on basic motor ability of elementary school students. Taking the sixth graders of Her-ren elementary school as the research object which randomly selected into two classes as experimental and control groups. In experimental group, there are 18 boys and 14 girls, and control group includes 18 boys and 14 girls. Besides general gym courses taken among two groups, proceeding 12 weeks of 40 minutes, 3 times weekly of Tai Chi Chuan instruction in experiment group .Before the experiment, there were prospective tests of (flexibility 、muscle power 、explosive strength、agileness、balance、coordination and heart and lungs endurance)which were taken between the two groups. During the experiment, proceeding tests and final tests of basic motor ability were individually taken by the 8th and 12th. Week. The data which we obtain from the experiment were analyzed by SPSS for Windows version 10.0. And here are some discoveries after data processing and results analyzing.
1. When Tai Chi Chuan courses proceed to the 8th week, there are prominent effects upon the advance of flexibility、muscle power、explosive strength and coordination of elementary male students. Moreover, prominent effects are found in advancing dynamic balancing、static equilibrium and heart and lungs endurance among them by the week 12th.
2. When Tai Chi Chuan courses proceed to the 8th week, there are prominent effects upon the advance of flexibility、muscle power、dynamic balancing and heart and lungs endurance of elementary female students. While the ability of static equilibrium and coordination is highly advanced by the week 12th.
3. The practicing of Tai Chi Chuan courses has few effects upon advancing female students’ explosive strength and agileness, and also upon male students’ agileness.
According the results, it reveals 8-12 weeks of Tai Chi Chuan courses practicing have great help to advance multiple basic motor abilities, and 12 weeks’ practicing is superior than 8th weeks’.
