Summary:碩士 === 南華大學 === 文學系碩士班 === 96 ===   The Tongyi Club (同芸社arts community) in Siluo of Yunlin County was founded in 1919, and was renamed Tan Club(菼社) in the following year. The Tan Club was active in the Japanese Colonial Period. Due to its achievements in literary activities and poetry compositions, the founding purpose of the Club, "Preserving Chinese culture" had been realized. The Tan Club was the seed for the traditional poetry clubs in Yunlin during the Japanese Colonial Period. As the members relocated to other areas, the Club slowly grew and deeply influenced the poetry clubs in Citong, Lunbei, Dounan, and Beigang of Yunlin, and also improved the literary atmosphere of Yunlin. The hometown poetry language of the Tan Club established many faces of the native literature and history during the Japanese Colonial Period, allowing the reappearance of Siluo customs, carrying on the traditions, expressing them in a modern way, and taking the mission of carrying on Chinese poetry to the next era.      This paper focuses on the Siluo Tan Club as the topic, and the arrangement of the paper is presented as follows. Chapter 1 explains the research motives and objectives, the methods and current situation, and the scope and limitations. Chapter 2 describes the Tan Club’s development and evolution, the source of poetry clubs, the development of Taiwanese poetry clubs, the development of poetry clubs in Yunlin area, exploration from the vertical and horizontal aspects; then by describing the establishment and development of the Siluo Tan Club, to discuss the establishment and activities of the Tan Club. Chapter 3 analyzes the important poets and communities of the Tan Club, discusses the eight founding literati, and the new members to the club, in order to give a brief biography of each poet, and use the profiles to analyze the Tan Club community.      Chapter 4 focuses on the poems written by the Tan Club poets, discusses the works of the important poets from different periods. As shown from their many works, this group of literati with solid understanding of Chinese literature has unique characteristics in their poetry writing. Chapter 5 and 6 combines the Tan Club poems, and categorizes them into different topics such as geographical writing, subject writing, and emotional writing; and discusses the artistic characteristics of the Tan Club poet''s poetry style, class, and language. Chapter 7 describes the cross-regional poetry activities participated by the Tan Club and their meanings, and summarizes the above chapters to confirm the contributions of the Tan Club to Yunlin literary history, and its status in Taiwan’s literary history.
