However, the mechanical equipments in factories have more and more complex functions. The increasing types and qualities of equipment make the maintenance works harder for on-site staffs. Therefore, equipment maintenance becomes a critical issue among many enterprises. The Handheld mobile devices have gradually been asked to apply to daily management and the improvement of workflow as well as efficiency in the companies. The operations of these new IT equipments and computers are different. The threshold faced by users when learning correct operation procedures leads to the increasing importance of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Interface Design. Therefore, the methods of building a usable system for handheld mobile devices are the challenges that many program designers encounter. By utilizing the experimental design originated from this study, review of literatures and conclusion collected from on-site users’ questionnaires, a new interface of the “Inspection System of Facilities on PDA Equipment” will be designed with an effort to assess and advance users’ satisfaction and therefore, affect users’ application of the system. In the future, if the system designers take into consideration of the principles that users can achieve more operational efficiency with handheld mobile devices, such as PDA, they can construct systems on these handheld mobile devices to achieve the purpose of establishing a successful system for their enterprises.
