Abstract
The purpose of the study was to explore the risk management cognition and implementation on elementary school physical education teachers in Pingtung County. In order to analyze the difference risk management cognition from teachers’ different background and to investigate the relationship between the risk management cognition and implementation, questionnaire survey were distributed to 630 sampling elementary school physical education teachers in Pingtung county. Descriptive statistics, t-test and Pearson product-moment correlation were used to analyze the 543 valid returned questionnaire data. The results indicated:
1. Risk management cognition and implementation of teachers revealed a medium and higher level. The personnel aspect showed the highest level , the administration aspect were the lowest.
2. Significant differences were found in gender, take an administrative job, college major, size of the school, and location of the school. No significant differences existed in years of teaching, teaching physical education/health class, and CPR certified aspect.
3. There were positive correlation in every factor between the risk management cognition and implementation of teachers. It meant if the teachers’ risk management cognition elevate, the implementation efficiency will be raised.
