Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 社會發展學系 === 96 === The purpose of the research aims to understand elementary school teachers’ moral leadership and students’character performance﹐as well as between different background variable. This study chose survey method.The study objects were the fifth and sixth grade of elementary schools in Kaohsiung City﹐Kaohsiung County and Pingtung County.The study sample through stratified random sampling and cluster sampling. The effective samples are 852 in total. According to the result of the questionnaire﹐the following conclusions aregained by handling data and analyzing method of descriptive statistics﹐t-test﹐one-way variance of analysis﹐Pearson’s product-moment correlation﹐and regression. Conclusions are drawn as follows: 1.Elementary school teachers can exercise moral leadership well﹐especially in the aspect of moral intergrity. 2.The character performance of elementary school students were in the average and good condition. 3.Female students were easier to perceive teachers’moral leadership and Female students’integral character were better than male students. 4.Elementary school teachers utilizing moral leadership existed differences among teachers’ gender, class size, school size and school location. 5.Students’character performance was affected by teachers’ gender, class size, school size and school location. 6.The more moral leadership the elementary school teachers performed﹐the better character performance the students did. 7.“Moral concern”,“Organizational Operating”,and“The development of vision”aspects of teachers’moral leadership can predict students’integral character performance very well. The conclusions above have the following implications: 1.For educational administrative organization and school administration. 2.For elementary school teachers 3.For future studies
