Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北商業技術學院 === 商學研究所 === 96 === The management research scope has been growing prosperously because that the world’s economy keeps on growing and enterprise pursuing maximum profit/cost rate for the last 20 years. However, there is no collaborative inquiry was made in the past focusing on the field of management research regarding to data gathering, statistics and analysis as well. This research takes the perspective of collaborative inquiry to study 13 periodicals of TSSCI from 1999 to 2007 with 1996 literatures in total. According to the classification of Chen(2005) about the field of management research, the basic data analysis shows that collaborative research concentrates on the field of comprehensive management periodicals. Most of the literature’s first author is male, showing that the male researchers play an important and aggressive role in this field. In the aspect of study method, the qualitative, imperial and explorative literatures of collaborative inquiry are with the highest usage frequency. Classifying according to author’s service unit, the national university and university of technology occupy the biggest proportion which is about 60.22%. This means that the researchers of the national university have the advantage in the process of the research due to the resources they have. In the aspect of region, the northern region in Taiwan has the biggest proportion of 42.28% while the southern region in Taiwan has the second biggest proportion of 20.84%. In the aspect of cross region, the most of the literatures concentrate inside the Taiwanese Island which is about 86.02%. Literatures from overseas and off-shore islands are 13.56% and 0.42%, respectively. As we can know from the hypothesis test, the literature of collaborative inquiry has the significant relation with the research method, sample size and author’s gender. The most popular method is qualitative, imperial and explorative literature with sample size 30-500 which were led by male author. Through the diverse dimensions analysis, we realize that the large increase of numbers of student and professor has something to do with the diversification of the collaborative inquiry development around recent years. Comparing to the issues about the domestic publication with the SSCI periodicals, there is a steady growth of the SSCI in recent years. Hence, the collaborative inquiry is the most popular research strategy in the field of management research, no matter in domestic or globe. Finally, this research tries to understand the trend of managerial research in the collaborative inquiry point of view for further reference in the future.
