碩士 === 國立台北護理學院 === 資訊管理研究所 === 96 === In order to provide comprehensive services of telecare on an information platform, this study used an open-source content management system (CMS) as the base for the platform. Software components and customized programs were deployed on the platform to annex functions of handling video/audio signals and vital signs. The platform is presented in the form of a website to provide various services of health care. The CMS consists of discussion board, searching engine, Really Simple Syndication (RSS), calendar, photo album, streaming video system and video blog. Real-time video care system (v-care) and personal health management system were implemented and integrated into the platform to offer advanced services. Users can share their text, image, video, and graphic information on the platform; Nurses and other medical staffs may post information on the platform to promote correct concepts of health care. They can perceive their patients’ physiological and psychological conditions and offer consultations using this platform. This platform can also be a good place for patients and family members to share feelings and experiences. The interactions between participants may help patients adapt themselves better and distribute much information for health care.
