Action research was taken as the research method. The study was carried out over the period of 3 weeks. The subjects participating in the study were 42 first graders in senior high school. WebQuest is consisted of introduction, tasks, process, evaluation and conclusion. General data were derived from questionnaire for learning effectiveness, and class climate. Qualitative data were derived from instructor’s journal, worksheets, group’s presentation and feedback from focus groups. The result of this study was summarized as follows: (1) WebQuest could increase students’ learning will; (2) WebQuest could enhance students’ English learning; (3) WebQuest is helpful to the cultivation of other abilities; (4) WebQuest promotes cooperation; (5) There is no significant difference between academic performances and learning effectiveness.
