While the literature review helped to set a theoretical foundation, chapters in this technique report introduced and discussed various subjects regarding women’s basketball in High School Basketball League (HBL). Other than the part on written work, figures, tables, pictures and examples were also provided for a clear description of the structure and overall concept of this report. It was the hope that this report served as training staff’s reference for tactics analysis and training, helping to establish a scientific view of organization and management to improve overall team performance. A total of eight chapters in this report are outlined as follows: Chapter 1 Introduction: this chapter mainly discusses the athletic development in Taiwan, HBL results and achievements throughout the years as well as features of HBL women’s basketball. Chapter 2 Techniques analysis: by taking HBL women’s basketball as an example, this chapter introduces the basic offense-defense techniques for basketball. Chapter 3 Specific physical training and guidance: Chapter 3 introduces physical structure analysis, theories as well as methods of physical training. Actual training examples of HBL women’s basketball are also provided for analysis in this chapter. Chapter 4 Psychological training for basketball players: the purpose of this chapter is to set an objective for psychological skills training by applying training and stress management, concentration training and imagery training to HBL women’s basketball players. Chapter 5 Analysis of tactics: this chapter analyzes basketball’s offense-defense tactics and the handling of unexpected conditions as they occur by providing actual examples in HBL women’s basketball for analysis. Chapter 6 Training program: this chapter states the implementation of the current training program for HBL women’s basketball. Chapter 7 Health management: an introduction and examination of health and injuries managements for HBL women’s basketball players. Chapter 8 Conclusion
