碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 社會科教育學系碩士班 === 96 === The old streets of the urban district , also the cluster of commercial and cultural activities , was often the area that was developed earlier.As the time goes by , the old streets are faced with the impacts of the environmental transition , outward migration and business recession ,most ancient buildings and community places have been gradually replaced by towering modern building.With this situation ,to avoid the Hsin-hua old street is increasing similar to other towns in Taiwan, and lost his historical landscape gradually. Whether in the face of the old street historical building , landscape of value so , the main objectives of this research and addressed as follows. 1. In the first chapter ,we will study the documents to understand the development of Hsin-hua old street , through to research the development of Hsin-hua county , generalizing the settlement transition of landscape from the historical development of Hsin-hua settlement . In accordance with the streets building of residences , the characteristics and features are analyzed and induced . 2. In the second one , a through survey is conducted to study the natural , historical and cultural environments of Hsin-hua so as to understand the development background and landscape characteristics.With several focal basic investigations,to study the limitations and potentials. 3. In Chapter Three , to analyze the spaces with successive prospects with different visional view , to understand settlement spaces and the height of buildings , etc. ,to include the potential and interferon of current landscape . 4 . In Chapter Four ,through the questionnaire survey and open question examination , we can find the landscape value of Hsin-hua old street –space value , historical value, uniqueness , landscape potentiality and view integrality . These five factors can as a reference for the standard of the view safeguard in the future . All in all , the research mainly focuses on Hsin-hua old street to find the view value of it , and to probe into the advantages as a reference for the standard or view safeguard , and to rehabilitate the old street .
