Through thorough paper review, we realized that the nowadays profile and intension of Safety and Health in the practice courses in Heavy Machinery Department, and to establish the integral framework. Finally, together with collecting related questionnaires, we created the “Questionnaire of Safety and Health in the Heavy Machinery Department's practice courses in Vocational High School students.” We chose the students of Taipei Municipal Nan-gang Vocational High School and National Tao-yuan Agricultural and Industrial Vocational High School as the studying subjects, and put in use of questionnaire survey, with 295 surveys mailed, 262 of which returned, and 88.81% being the rate of valid sampling. The obtained data was analyzed by frequency distribution, percentage, average, standard deviation, independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and Scheffe’ statistic method. The results showed that: (1) There are 121 students (46.18%) ever injured in practice the courses, showed students’ injured rate in the practice courses is too high. (2) In the cognition performance of Safety and Health in the practice courses, there are significant differences in the factor of the student grade. (3) In the attitude intention of Safety and Health in the practice courses, there are no significant differences in the factor of the different student background. (4) In the behavioral performance of Safety and Health in the practice courses, there are significant differences in the factor of the student grade.
