Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 化學系 === 96 === This paper describes the process by which nitroaromatic explosives residue in soil sample matrices from military shooting ranges is obtained by means of capillary electrophoresis/UV absorbance. The use of MEKC (micellar electrokinetic chromatography) mode provided the limit of detections (LODs; at S/N = 3) ranging 1.5 ~ 2.9 μg/mL for 14 nitroaromatic and nitramine explosives standards; whereas when the sweeping-MEKC technique was used, the LODs could be improved as much as 3.1 ~ 6.5 ng/mL. A set of 7 soil samples were collected from surface soil at military shooting ranges located at Kinmen County in Taiwan, and the findings showed that RDX and TNT were the explosives residue present at the highest concentrations. This study is useful for determining current levels of explosives residue and to help with appropriate recommendations concerning future site characterization techniques.
