A study on the application of multimedia computer for junior high school music teaching

碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 音樂學系在職進修碩士班 === 96 === The purpose of this study is to inquire the principles and methods, the students’ responses, and the teacher designer’s difficulties and solutions in applicating of multimedia computer for music teaching. The methodology is a case study. Four junior high school 8th Grades classes with 158 students in Taipei county are chosen to participate in this curriculum for 6 weeks. Both qualitative and quantitative data were gathered and analyzed to form the following conclusions : 1. After the curriculum, the auther acquires the 10 principles and methods on the application of multimedia computer in music teaching. 2. Using multimedia computer in music teaching indeed improves students’ music learning motive and interest, and receives good responses from students. 3. The integrative multimedia materials can reinforce the students’ learning ability and effect. 4. The multimedia materials can inspire the learning , but the playing time should be controlled deliberately. 5. Applicating multimedia computer in the ordinary classroom causes the changes of the teaching environment and increases the difficulty for teacher to keep order. 6. According to the ASSURE Model, teacher should utilize the ready-made multimedia materials. Based on the above conclusions, the author offers some suggestions to teachers, education administrators and future researchers.
