| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 運動與休閒管理研究所 === 96 === The purpose of this study was to design main press center facility of the 21st Summer Deaflympics Taipei 2009. The research methods were semi-structured interview and questionnaire survey. The subjects of interview were experts, scholars, and 8 staff who worked at the organization committee of T2009. Questionnaire which based on opinions of interview were surveyed 14 media reporters who have ever reported the news of T2009. According to the qualitative and quantitative data, this study reached the following conclusions:
1.Main press center would play the role to communicate and connect with the inside and outside of the Game. Its main function was to provide the service to media from each country. It was also the key point to achieve success in the 21st Summer Deaflympics Taipei 2009.
2.The 21st Summer Deaflympics Taipei 2009 should have 18 facilities and 11 services in main press center.
The conclusions will provide the organizer of T2009 to design the main press center in the future. Besides, the researcher suggests that future studies could analyze user demand and satisfaction by the “Post-Occupancy Evaluation Theory.”
