Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 教育傳播與科技研究所 === 96 === “Mobile phone forum” is an online forum (Virtual Community, Boards, BBS, etc.) to be used in sharing information, comments, and allowing mobile phone users to interact with each other. The Taiwan Internet user will first take into consideration information from the web, before making purchases. Such as forums, discussions, and official web-sites. Most of which are searches for consumer electronics. The research objects are 275 college students in metropolitan Taipei area. Students were all given questionnaires which asked questions relating to the students’habits and behavior on online mobile phone forum. The results of the study were as follows: 1. Mobile phone users typically did not join forums, or web-sites, and rarely left messages. 2. Students would visit 1 or 2 mobile phone forums before purchasing a mobile phone. 3. Generally, college students were influenced by the characteristics of the forums. Based on the results, researcher made the following suggestions: 1. User should post more personal mobile phone purchasing or using experiences, and create more objective-based messages. 2. User should use include more comparative shopping 3. Forum administer should establish concrete methods of encouraging users to be more active, and to encourage people to become members. 4. Forum administer should aim at establish the reputation of the forum, in general.
