This research investigated job satisfaction (personal feeling of satisfaction with the job achievement, personal internal feeling of satisfaction and personal feeling of satisfaction with challenges) in dealing with sex harassment cases among officials of domestic violence prevention in county and city police branch offices. According to the results of motivation, purpose researches and literature reviews, we tried to understand the satisfaction from three aspects: 1.The relationship between personal factors and job satisfaction: the personal factors include variables of gender, age, ranks, marital status, education level, job, seniority, and population statistics in the region they served and the effects of job satisfaction. 2.The relationship between organizational factors and job satisfaction: the organizational factors include independent variables of their superior’s support degree, Internet support degree and effects of job satisfaction. 3.The relationship between case factors and job satisfaction: the case factors include independent variables such as job familiarity degree, job involvement degree and victim factors and effects of job satisfaction. The primary findings of the research include: 1.Personal factors: the officials of domestic violence prevention who were male, under 30 years old, married, graduated from ordinary police classes, sergeant, under 10 years of seniority, served in offshore islands and units other than non-branch offices or woman and children team had higher job satisfaction, personal internal satisfaction, personal challenge satisfaction. 2.Organizational factors: in the process of probes, the degree of emphasis from superiors had positive correlations with support degree of Internet. The more support, emphasis from superiors is, the better Internet interaction would be and the higher job satisfaction would be. 3.Case factors: the factors such as the familiarity with the probing procedures, whether the undertaker of case concentrate on works and victim factor will affect the job satisfaction. The more familiar, more involvement a policeman is, the more satisfaction he will receive. Based on the results of research, we hereby recommend: 1.Select right persons with right positions for the officials of domestic violence prevention. 2.Improve the external environment, such as superiors’ support and good transverse Internet communications. 3.Public support: people’s attitude and collecting evidence in reporting to the police, and express their thanks to the police in due time. 4.Entitle the officials special power with special responsibility, affirm the specialty of the officials and create certification mechanism. 5. Proper incentives for the officials who have heavy workload and responsibility to boost morale. JOU, SU-SYAN 周愫嫻 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 94 zh-TW
